World Prayer Centre is a small cog but we believe that our prayers make a huge difference in the Kingdom.

If you’ve not come across World Prayer Centre before you may wonder what we are all about. Simply put, we are a ‘house of prayer with a heart for the nations’. Prayer is our middle name!

Our goal is to encourage prayer to transform lives, communities and the world.

Our DNA is about listening to God, discerning and learning. Our heart is to praise and worship Jesus. Our approach is ‘Heaven to Earth’. We love to serve the Church teaching, leading and guiding in prayer.

Our Impact is to see His Kingdom come by:

• Education on prayer & spiritual growth

• Networking, unifying and enabling prayer & partnerships

Our vision started in 1992. God gave Ian Cole, founder of World Prayer Centre, a vision to building a World Prayer Centre in the Birmingham area. It will be a house of prayer like never seen before. It will be a key engine for revival praying for hundreds of thousands to come to know Jesus. It will consist of: an auditorium, residential conference facilities, continent prayer rooms, leisure facilities, prayer walk - boulevard of nations, landscaped gardens and the river of life.
